AI search services by insurance vertical
AEO, GEO and AI SEO for Insurance Agencies
When a shopper asks ChatGPT, Google AI, Perplexity or Copilot for an insurance agent, one or two agencies get named. The rest are not in the answer. We build the pages, schema, data and callable tools that make it yours, one line of business at a time, and we run the same build on our own insurance sites first.
From $247/month, published pricing below
AEO (answer engine optimization), GEO (generative engine optimization) and AI SEO are three names for one job: making your agency the source an AI engine cites when it answers a shopper's question.
For an insurance agency that takes five things. Answer pages written for the questions people ask in your county. Structured data (schema markup) the engines can parse. Open access for the AI crawlers. Figures that are current for the plan year. And machine-readable access through llms.txt (a plain-text index of your pages for AI crawlers) and WebMCP (a published list of tools on your site an AI agent can call). Strategic AI Architects does that work for every line of insurance and publishes what it costs.
Pick your line of business
Each vertical has its own questions, its own compliance rules and its own data that goes stale on its own schedule. Six service pages, one per line, each with its own build, its own proof and the same published pricing.
Medicare AEO
Get named when a shopper asks for a Medicare agent in your county. CMS TPMO-compliant answer pages, plan-year-current data from the CMS landscape, a callable plan finder. In our Sioux Falls tracking, our own Medicare site is the only local agency cited.
Example question we track: medicare agent near Sioux Falls SD See the service →ACA and health insurance AEO
Earn the sentence after HealthCare.gov. County answer pages, subsidy figures correct for the plan year, state-aware enrollment content, HIPAA-safe tracking on quote forms.
Example question we track: aca subsidy help Kissimmee FL See the service →Life insurance AEO
Our own Sioux Falls life site out-cited every national carrier and aggregator for its 20 questions, 292 citations in six weeks. Underwriting, beneficiary and term-versus-whole answer pages, a callable quote tool, tracking off the health questions.
Example question we track: term life insurance quotes Sioux Falls SD See the service →Commercial insurance AEO
Industry-specific answer pages (one trade, one state, one coverage question) built on NAICS, BLS, OSHA and FMCSA public data.
Example shopper question: workers comp insurance for a roofing company in Texas See the service →Home and auto AEO
County answer pages on FEMA, NOAA and NHTSA data, tied to your Google Business Profile, so an independent agent appears where the engines name only carriers today.
Example shopper question: car insurance near me See the service →Annuity and final expense AEO
Plain, dated answers written inside the NAIC best-interest and state suitability rules. Final expense questions are part of our 292-citation Sioux Falls life result.
Example question we track: final expense insurance Minnehaha County See the service →What changes from one line of business to the next
The engine's question is the same shape in every vertical. What the answer has to respect, and what makes it go stale, is not.
| Line of business | Rules the answer must respect | Data that goes stale | Where it stands |
|---|---|---|---|
| Medicare | CMS marketing rules in the Contract Year 2027 final rule: TPMO disclaimer placement, six-year call recording retention, Scope of Appointment timing | Plan counts, premiums and star ratings roll over with the CMS landscape each fall; enrollment monthly | Service page live |
| ACA and health | CMS Marketplace rules, HHS online tracking guidance, FTC health data enforcement, state privacy laws, 30 federal vs. state-based exchanges | Benchmark premiums, subsidy tables and carrier participation change every plan year | Service page live |
| Life | State replacement and suitability rules, carrier advertising review | Carrier product lists, underwriting classes, rate tables | Service page live |
| Commercial | State insurance department advertising rules, carrier appetite by class code | Carrier appetite, BLS injury and wage data by industry | Service page live |
| Home and auto | State insurance department advertising rules, carrier appetite | Carrier availability by county, FEMA and NOAA hazard data for catastrophe pages | Service page live |
| Annuity and final expense | NAIC suitability model regulation as adopted by the state, replacement rules | Rates, carrier lists, state adoption status | Service page live |
How engines choose
The four things every cited insurance page has
No engine publishes a citation formula. What they do publish is what they need to read a page, and the pattern across the insurance sites we track is consistent. These four layers are the build. The free audit checks all four.
Readable: four pieces of structured data an engine can verify
Four pieces of structured data on every page. Article or Service schema with organization-level authorship (who published this). FAQPage schema for every question block (what it answers). Dataset schema, a machine-readable label naming the government dataset a figure came from with its exact URL (where the number is from). And llms.txt plus WebMCP (how a machine reads and uses the site). This is how an engine confirms what the page is, who stands behind it and where the numbers came from.
How AI engines decide which sites to citeReachable: AI crawlers allowed, llms.txt published
GPTBot, OAI-SearchBot, PerplexityBot, ClaudeBot, Google-Extended and Bingbot have to be able to fetch the page. Managed firewall and robots rules on common hosts block them without telling you. Then llms.txt, a plain-text index at the site root, tells them which pages answer which questions.
Which AI crawlers to allow · What llms.txt isRight: the answer first, the figure current, the source dated
One question per page, answered completely in the first two sentences, with a named and dated source for every number and plan-year data that rolls over when CMS or HealthCare.gov publishes, pulled straight from the CMS, Census, HealthCare.gov and BLS public files through our own data engine. In our tracking, the source with the current figure is the one that gets cited.
The pre-publish checklistUsable: WebMCP, a tool an AI agent can call
A manifest at /.well-known/mcp.json and an /mcp endpoint expose your plan finder, subsidy estimator or quote request as tools a browsing agent can run. We run this in production on our own sites, including this one. We have not yet found another insurance agency site that exposes one; if you know of one, we would like to see it.
